I had a client meeting a few days back in Pune, and this was when I got the chance to visit the city once again. The last time when I was in Pune, I did not get much time to visit various places of attractions. But this time I made sure that after my client meeting I will surely take out some time for my visit to the city.
 
So, while booking my tickets, I made sure to have some extra time in my hand. Also, I booked my room in a hotel where I can have a comfortable stay.
 
Trip from Jaipur to Pune Was Great

To reach Pune fast, I booked my tickets with Air Asia that made me reach my destination in about 1 hour and 50 minutes. To make my trip a comfortable one, I booked my ticket in business class. I had my booking done in the hotel online in advance, and so I was not worried about the accommodation part.

I had already mentioned my flight details to the hotel and so when I reached the Pune airport and came out, I noticed a cab from the hotel waiting for me. I took the cab and straight reached my hotel without any trouble.

My Stay at the Hotel in Pune

I had my booking in one of the most comfortable rooms of Le Royale Residency, Pune. It is located at the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park that is there at Hinjewadi. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, a gaming zone, a spa and also four restaurants. All the rooms of the hotel are well maintained with balconies, TV, mini fridge and many others.

The hotel is just at a distance of an hour from the Pune airport and offers free parking. Along with the other amenities, the hotel also has a Jacuzzi and a gym for relaxation and fitness.

Along with the restaurants, there is also a bar and a nightclub where guests can enjoy drinks and dance.

Local Sightseeing and Visiting Points of Interest

There are some places to visit in Pune; I had a client meeting, but still, I took out some time to visit some of the important places this time.

Vetal Tekdi: This is a hill that is the highest one in the city of Pune. Not only the hill is famous because of its height but also because at the top of the hill is the temple of Vetala due to which the name of the hill has been provided as Vetal Tekdi.

Parvati Hill: Again, this is a hill that is there at 2100 feet above the sea level. Also here there is a temple of Devi Parvati for which the hill has got its name.

Saras Baug: This is one of the most important landmarks of the city. There was a lake in this location, but as it dried up, a garden has constructed that spread in an area of about 25 acres.

Last time when I visited Pune, I was not able to visit the place, but this time I made sure to do so, and I explored some places of interest.
